CCTV / Access Control Installers
We are always looking for Installers of CCTV and Access Control systems to join our growing team.
Ideal candidates will have attained a reasonable amount of experience in this field, and will therefore require a minimal amount of training.
It is essential for all personnel to go through security clearances and CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks in order to be employed.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Experience of Installations work procedures
- Health & Safety awareness preferably attained via CSCS Card exam
- Safe working at Heights training
- Product training / able to demonstrate knowledge of different product installations
- Able to drive a car / van
Desirable:
- IPAF - mobile elevated platforms

Sales Person
The role would be to source sales opportunities in the field of Mechanical and Electrical Contractors / Architects and Consultants.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who would perform well within a results driven sales environment.
A proven track record in sales would be a distinct advantage, though it is not essential to have gained this within the CCTV or security industry.
It would be an advantage to have an aptitude for technology.
Candidates must be articulate and able to present information with enthusiasm. This role requires good organization skills and attention to details as a significant amount of information gathering and recording is an essential part of our sales process. Though there will be a reasonable amount of travel required, this role will operate from our Chelmsford office.
MAIN DUTIES
- Sales of security system installations
- Obtaining tender documents
- Preparing annual business plan and updating regularly on achievements
- Attain agreed targets, monitor and review
- Liaising with Sales Support in the preparation and distribution of target customer mail shots for company products and services.
- Provide material for marketing, newsletters or company brochures
- Completing the necessary logs for customer telephone calls and visits
- Reporting activity at monthly Sales Meeting.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs for new or existing installations
- Liaise with Installations and Applications Engineers on system installations requirements
- Provision of quotations to customers
- Establish and maintain good customer relations
- Understand and apply Company procedures under Management Systems and H&S as part of sales process.

Service Engineer - Internal Vacancy
To meet the growing demands upon the existing team, we are looking to recruit an additional Service Engineer. The objective of the role is to provide, at customers premises, a reliable and professional support to customers integrated security equipment and related products, for which ClearView has commercial responsibility.
We are looking for candidates with experience of Access Control, CCTV systems and video replay equipment maintenance. Digital knowledge would be a significant advantage, along with good IT skills. An aptitude for technology and self progression is essential to keep up with the pace of this busy department.
Candidates must hold a current driving licence and valid passport as a reasonable amount of travel is required. This may also involve the occasional stay away. Candidates will also be part of the out of hours on-call rota.
MAIN DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair and Maintenance of Analogue and Digital CCTV, Access Control and other associated security systems

Actively part of the on-call team, which requires working unsociable hours as part of a rota.

Project Managers
JOB TITLE

REPORTING STRUCTURE
Supervisors job title: Installations Manager / Operations Director
Direct Subordinates: None
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
To project manage key contracts co-ordinating on time deliveries (procurement) contract documentation, and customer liaison.To support the Company with system design and technical capabilities. Ensuring that the requirements of the customer and the needs of company procedure are upheld.
MAIN DUTIES
Role may include overseas contracts.
Primary responsibilities:
- To co-ordinate and supervise allocated projects, following related processes and meeting agreed lead times.
- Ensure that the provision of Company products is to the required quality standard
- Managing the work performed by approved contractors.
- Liaising with customers for all requirements, health & safety, and any other related issue.
- Apply company procedure for preparation of tenders / quotations.
- Undertake site surveys when requested
- Liaise with equipment manufacturers / key suppliers in the evaluation of integrated security solutions.
- Prepare system specification documentation, including drawings and fitting instructions.
- Updating drawing register records with latest versions when either preparing new drawings or amending existing drawings for manufacturing purposes.
- Liaise with customers and staff regarding requirement
Secondary responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of integrated security systems in the preparation of designs.
- Ensure all procedures and processes specific to the department are followed.
- To plan and co-ordinate projects and personnel deployed to undertaken them.
- Ensure works carried out are done to the highest quality standard, within the agreed timeframe
- Liaison with Design personnel on customer requirements and site surveys.
- Ensuring all agreed actions allocated in meetings are followed up
- Responsible for staff working within project team on day to day basis
- Ensure that all activities by personnel meet health & safety requirements
- Visiting customers when required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Knowledge of CCTV equipment and technology
- Recognised qualifications
- Experience in design area (security installations)
- Knowledge of access control / intruder / integrated systems
- Familiar with NACOSS Gold standard and associated Security screening
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office systems, especially Excel & Word
- Experience of Auto CAD or Visio
- Good commercial awareness, including contracts, method statements and performance monitoring.
- Flexible approach
- A working knowledge of company management systems and departmental procedures.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety in relation to both general employee responsibilities, and in preparation of applications to meet customer requirements.
Desirable:
- Project Management certificate / qualification
