Hertfordshire Police Upgrade to Digital
Police Custody suites in Hertford, Hemel Hempstead have all been equipped with CCTV systems supplied and installed by ClearView Communications.
These systems have created a safer environment for detainees and provided custody staff with greater protection aswell as a high degree of transparency with regard to police procedures.
The equipment was able to satisfy all aspects of Hertfordshire Constabulary's demanding specification, including the requirement for multi-channel, lip-synch audio, image
Authentication, watermarking and an operator interface that could be used with little training.

ClearView's Digital recording systems provide a clear record of all activities within the custody suite whether they be at the van dock, custody desk, intoximeter room, corridor or cell. Different locations within the suite demand different types of recording from real-time video with clear audio track at the booking-in desk, to time-lapse recording only.
