Re-Deployable CCTV
ClearView's range of Re-deployable CCTV camera systems are capable of taking advantage of the increasingly wide range of transmission methods available today including:
- Orange HSCDS 28.8 kbps 1 ips
- 3G 64 kpbs up (384 kbps down) 3 ips
- Wireless IP 10 Mbps 50 ips
The most appropriate transmission system can be chosen to suit the application—depending on mobile transmission coverage and geographical considerations (e.g. Line-of-Sight).
All systems have a fixed IP address, up to 320Gb on-board removable hard disc drive and wall/lamp post fixing brackets. Recordings may be downloaded remotely over the transmission link, or locally via wired or wireless IP.
A variety of camera options are available including (1) Intelligent PTZ Viseum camera capable of automatically zooming in and following specific user-defined behaviour (2) High speed dome/metal mickey camera with full telemetry control (3) Fixed weatherproof colour/mono camera with telephoto lens (4) Covert pin-hole camera supplied within a variety of hides and (5) Low light colour monochrome camera with "black" infra-red illumination.
Features and Benefits
- High speed pan, tilt and zoom functions
- Full telemetry control
- Transmit pictures without the need for fixed line
- Ideal for monitoring covert operations
- Continuous recording
- Removable hard disc caddy
- Operates with all standard CCTV cameras
- Ideal for rapid deployment
- Suitable for temporary installation
Deployment
The systems can be easily and rapidly deployed. The camera record/transmit unit can be mounted onto a lamp post using the standard fixings provided. All that is required to activate the system is 240VAC mains power (battery power option). The system may also be fixed to a wall, or located internally, should the application require.
Viewing
Multiple cameras can be viewed from any standard PC or laptop connected via IP, ADSL or standard telephone modem.
Transmission
By using a variety of transmission methods - including mobile 3G, GSM, HSCDS and Wireless IP networks, the systems can transmit pictures without the need for a fixed telephone line. Connection and download speeds range from less than 1 ips (GSM), to real-time 50 ips @ 4 CIF (wireless IP) depending upon the network used for transmission. The preferred mobile network service provider is 3G because of its high speed data uplink capabilities at 60 kbps.
If any of the mobile phone networks are utilised, a monthly line rental subscription to the mobile operator is required. As well as dialling in remotely to view images, full telemetry control of the dome or PTZ cameras is also available. These all feature high speed pan, tilt and zoom functions.
Recording
Video from the CCTV camera is recorded continuously whenever the camera sees motion, even if images are not being viewed remotely. Recorded images may then be viewed remotely after the event if required. The hard disc is provided in the form of a removable caddy so that if necessary, the complete disc may be removed for viewing using a PC or laptop. Evidence may be secured and stored for use within the criminal justice system at a later date.
Applications
Crime and anti-social behaviour usually occurs sporadically in areas not protected by fixed line CCTV systems. The system can be rapidly deployed to monitor crime hotspots.
Fly-tippers , determined to dispose of their waste unlawfully, frequently target remote sites. The system can operate without mains power and can be deployed discreetly in areas other systems simply cannot reach.
The system is ideal for monitoring covert operations due to its flexible nature. It accepts all camera types, including covert cameras.
