Case Study - Brockenhurst
Located in the New Forest and with over 2500 students Brockenhurst is a large and imposing college with numerous outbuildings. They needed a security system that could monitor these buildings from anywhere on the campus via their existing network.
Struggling to find a security company who understood their needs and gave them the confidence that they could complete the necessary installation the college asked ClearView for their free site survey.
ClearView completed a four hour survey and responded with a 12 page proposal and recommendations. These included the installation of digital IP recorders (DVRs) which would be networked utilising the schools existing infrastructure. This would allow authorised users to connect to a DVR and view live or recorded images direct from their pc anywhere on the campus. (subject to user rights)
ClearView have extensive knowledge of networks, bandwidths and compression rates which enables them to install such a system without compromising the schools network infrastructure.
Many of the cameras installed utilise the latest in LED infra red technology for enhanced night time recording of images. This LED technology also provide lower running costs and therefore a reduced carbon footprint compared to halogen equivalents.
The system was installed to the complete satisfaction of the college who have continued to expand the original installation.
