Security over Ethernet (SoE) Savings
ClearView can now offer CCTVoE, ACSoE, PAoE and LCoE (lighting control). The company has won several contracts recently using IP-based technology which not only reduces cable costs and installation times, but also gives huge on-going revenue savings.
Compare a traditional access controlled door - requiring mains power and drawing at least 50 Watts - to a PoE door requiring no mains and drawing a maximum of 12W. For a 100 door system, this equates to an annual saving of £4,000. Green indeed!
