Intelimux-Pro 16 channel De-Multiplexer CDB216

Intellimux 16Intelimux-Pro 16 channel De-Multiplexer CDB216 with sixteen simultaneous full screen video outputs

ClearView Communications, manufacturers of analog and digital video de-multiplexing systems - have enhanced their range of PAL and NTSC video decoders with INTELIMUX 16 - an analog video tape de-multiplexer which decodes and outputs up to 16 simultaneous video outputs in a single pass.

A three hour 16 channel multiplexed tape can therefore have all cameras copied onto 16 separate tapes in three hours rather than 48 hours. This saves man-hours in the video lab and has potential to speed up the enquiry overall.

INTELIMUX 16 is capable of automatically identifying and decoding all main multiplexer formats, including encoded time and date, in seconds. The systems incorporate a host of video processing functions including freeze, live zoom, image save to digital media card and enhancement.

To ensure INTELIMUX 16 is kept up to date, new multiplex codes and user function upgrades may be added speedily via digital media card.

CBD 216 Series

Intelimux16 has the ability to decode virtually all multiplexer codes. There are four methods of decoding available:

  • Auto-code detect, the Intelimux16 automatically identifies and displays
  • Formats, the manufacturer's code is manually selected.
  • Analog, the tape is decoded through repetition of a regular pattern
  • User defined formats (via ClearView's PC-based “code-cracking” system).

When decoded, cameras may be displayed in full or matrix screen displays. The favourites menu allows specific cameras to be selected for matrix viewing (e.g. cameras 4, 7, 15 and quad 16 mode).

A sophisticated zoom functionality between 1.5 and 8 times is available for live video and still images. Once an image has been frozen it may be printed using an external printer or downloaded onto digital media card as a bitmap, JPEG or encrypted image file. The image may then be exported for email, printing and further processing and enhancement.

To ensure the Intelimux is kept up-to-date with new code formats and code changes introduced by multiplexer manufacturers, the system is upgradeable via digital media card. This also enables new user functions to be added.

Upgrades are provided free of charge during the first twelve months. A service/maintenance contract is available for subsequent years. This extends the first year warranty and includes all new software upgrades.
