An Electronic Perimeter Intruder Detection System (PIDS) is usually installed in an outdoor environment at the perimeter limits or around sensitive, high-risk areas. The sensors detect, deter, and delay intruders. The system provides critical time for security teams to respond to any unauthorised intrusion.
Our devices include active or passive infra-red beams, linear microphonic fence sensors, magnetic anomally detectors, microwave, laser, radio frequency, capacitive, heat or pressure sensors and “intelligent” video systems. The systems are usually integrated with a CCTV system and access control to provide a totally cohesive solution.
Our systems are designed to be as overt or discreet as required, making them suitable for any environment including secure hospitals, power stations and military bases.
